We also work closely with suppliers, helping them assess the impact of their activities on the local environment. Through clear communication, our website, and company materials, we aim to enhance awareness of our environmental initiatives.
To stay current and promote best practices, we strive for ongoing improvement by:
– Regularly reviewing and enhancing our environmental policies and performance
– Learning from exemplary environmental management practices

– Continuously monitoring our progress
– Encouraging responsible environmental behaviour and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all levels
EV Initiative

We remain mindful of our environmental impact.
As we have done across all areas of our service provision, we continue to measure our carbon emissions proactively and as a responsible organisation we promote the use of environmentally friendly low-emission vehicles.
We have been trialling electric vehicles (EVs) since 2013. Through our established supplier network, we have access to a wide range of EV models within our supply chain.
As we continue to expand our electric vehicle fleet, we actively monitor advancements in EV technology to ensure we remain at the forefront of sustainable transport solutions
To this end, we will undertake that wherever possible, electric vehicles or low emission hybrids will be used, where appropriate.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
As a local company, we understand the importance of the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, which places social value at the heart of how NHS organisations and other government bodies operate. We firmly believe that public services should be delivered in a way that provides maximum benefit to the local community.
We actively promote local apprenticeships and support schools, colleges, and employment initiatives by offering free careers advice through local school open and exhibition days. We are committed to creating skills and employment opportunities, and we regularly offer work experience placements to school pupils and young adults.
We also carry out thorough assessments of our suppliers’ facilities and practices. This includes onsite visits, face-to-face meetings, mandatory audits, and unannounced spot checks. We provide guidance to help suppliers avoid negative impacts where possible, and to minimise them where unavoidable.

To ensure the Company remains current and looks to promote best practice at all times, we will continuously seek further improvement where possible.
This will include matters such as:
Periodically reviewing our environmental policy and practices in order to improve operation and environmental performance.
- Learning from best practice examples of environmental management.
- Integrating environmental awareness in planning, marketing, employee communications and training.
- Continuous monitoring.
- Fostering responsible environmental behaviour amongst our employees at all levels & encouraging them to continuously improve and aim beyond the minimum requirement.
