Stadium Weekender – Celebrating 125 Years of Scunthorpe United FC:

To mark Scunthorpe United’s 125th anniversary, the Attis Arena was transformed into a full-scale festival site for a spectacular three-day celebration — the Stadium Weekender. This ‘party on the pitch’ welcomed thousands from Scunthorpe and beyond, showcasing everything from local legends and iconic DJs to thrilling fairground rides and delicious street food. Every ticket sale directly supported the club.
The event kicked off on Day 1 with an open-top bus trophy parade, featuring the club’s players travelling from the stadium along a short town route to celebrate their return to the National League Premier Division.
Amvale were proud to play a key role in supporting the entire three-day event by providing professional medical services throughout. With an average daily attendance of 4,000, we deployed a full team comprising medical ambulances, Nurses, Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) Paramedics, HCPC-registered Paramedics, as well as Emergency and Ambulance Care Assistants.
We’re pleased to report the event was a resounding success, featuring an exciting and diverse lineup of performers each day. Highlights included the Community Opening Party, a 90s Rave, and a House & Garage Finale.
Scunthorpe United FC shared – “We’re proud to keep it local – from the artists and food vendors, to the stage crews and staff. Every penny from the festival goes directly back into Scunthorpe United. Stadium Weekender is a celebration of everything that makes this town special — and this is just the beginning.”
In close collaboration with Scunthorpe United FC, North Lincolnshire Council, and local policing teams, Amvale helped ensure a safe, vibrant, and welcoming environment for attendees of all ages.
With a true ‘party on the pitch’ atmosphere, the stadium was transformed into a buzzing celebration zone — a perfect fusion of festival energy and football pride.
Three days. Three epic lineups. One unforgettable weekend.
Stadium Weekender was the ultimate festival experience — right in the heart of Scunthorpe.
